Charlie Crisp is the President and Founding Principal Consultant of Crisp Supply Chain Solutions. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and finished his Bachelors degree at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He comes from a family of successful oil and gas entrepreneurs. Charlie is a pioneer in the E&P Frac Completions space being the first to market with his results proven outsourced supply chain model concentrating on direct sourced completions. His career includes over 8 years in a leadership role in direct sourcing completions across all completion commodities including final mile supply chain- primarily working with E&Ps direct. He is considered one of the leading experts in final mile with vast experience in procurement, auditing sand mines, final mile logistics, and wellsite coordination. His experience involves traditionally processed frac sand, wet frac sand, and unwashed frac sand. He also built a very successful one-off QAQC frac sand quality business which is the only one operating in the oilfield. To support the Mobile QAQC business, Charlie designed and built a fleet of Frac Sand & Specialty Mobile QAQC Labs which are deployed to Frac Sites, Sand Mines, and Mini Mobile sites. Charlie credits his success with being able to implement his proven direct sourced model across multiple customers, putting the highest quality completion commodity vendors on jobs, walking them through execution in the field, and still saving the customer millions in margins.
