New Mexico sued over pollution from oil and gas operations

The lawsuit from the Center for Biological Diversity, and a coalition of environmental, youth, Indigenous, and activist groups, was first filed in 2023. Since then, it has had some major setbacks, but on Monday, the state Supreme Court gave it new life and announced it will be the one to decide whether the case has a jury trial.
