Agenda Announced For 6th Annual Oilfield Water Industry update In Houston (October 29, 2024)

Houston – August 13, 2024.

  • This fall, a conference of influential produced water executives in the prestigious Houstonian Hotel ballroom will help shape the future of the oilfield water marketplace.

  • Join us to discuss business topics including:  market trends, deals, data, forecasts, procurement, commercialization, risks/opportunities, and E&P / midstream perspectives on water.

  • The preliminary agenda has been released – see it here or read on for more details…

This event’s topic outline is non-technical, focusing on the key concerns of executives that manage oilfield water and run oilfield water companies.

It may be seen on the conference website along with details on many networking opportunities at the event, lodging, sponsorships, and registration (link)

Formulated with extensive industry input, the agenda (and highly esteemed speakers) will set the tone in U.S. full-cycle onshore oilfield water management for 2025 and beyond.

Also at the Houstonian one day before the conference, Aris Water Solutions (the event’s Executive Sponsor) and Oilfield Water Connection will co-host a private, invite-only symposium for a small group of oilfield water stakeholders. Co-locating these events will enhance the conference energy, learning, and networking opportunities for everyone involved. Directly following the conference, the networking will continue with a reception sponsored by ISCO in the exhibit hall for all attendees plus a special invite-only dinner sponsored by Carbonet for a small group of conference goers.

The agenda features a series of fireside chats, data presentations and panels featuring senior industry leaders, E&P representatives, and the foremost business minds in the sector. While speakers are still being added, some early confirmations we are excited to share now include:

  • Amanda Brock, CEO of Aris Water Solutions, will open the conference with a keynote address on the state of the industry.
  • Jim Summers, CEO of H2O Midstream, will join a fireside chat to talk about the company’s recent $230mm sale to Delek Logistics Partners as well as his industry outlook.
  • Rystad’s Thomas Jacob and B3 Insight’s Kelly Bennett will share cutting edge data presentations on the 2025 outlook for the U.S. oilfield broadly and oilfield water specifically.
  • Conversational, non-sales pitch panels will present candid insights on E&P perspectives, commercial trends, key 2025 risks/opportunities, and the intersection of water with power and technology.
  • Quick case studies from RWI Enhanced Evaporation and Carbonet will share actionable ideas for optimization in oilfield water management.

Importantly, we’ve added even more networking to the agenda this year to maximize your interactions and traffic in the exhibit area.

The Grande Ballroom at The Houstonian is the perfect size for impactful conversations and attendees will experience great access to the right decision makers with whom to forge new partnerships or reinforce existing ones. The venue limits this event to just under 200 people, and this yearly conference has a strong history of bringing together E&P representatives and water midstream decision makers.

This is the must-attend event of 2H2024 for anyone in produced water that wants to rub shoulders with the top brass running things in the southwestern oilfield water sector.
