Agenda Unveiled For The 4th Annual Oilfield Water Industry Update In Houston October 5, 2022

This fall, produced water business leaders will gather for the Oilfield Water Connection conference at the Houstonian Hotel. Attendees can expect to hear talk from C-level executive speakers and analysts on commercial trends, market opportunities, capital market trends, shale activity outlook, sustainability successes and challenges, water market data, and deal-making.

The conference topic agenda, which is non-technical and focused on market/business trends as well as commercialized solutions, was unveiled for the first time today, and can be viewed here: https://oilfieldwater.com/owupdate4/

Highly regarded industry leaders will continue to be added as speakers to the panels, and the topics may be refined as the event organizers continue to discuss key trends with professionals in the field to deliver a topical agenda.

Formulated thoughtfully with extensive industry input, the agenda tackles the business issues that are top of mind for senior executives, investors, and stakeholders in full-cycle oilfield water management.

The day will begin with two data keynotes looking ahead at the outlook for next year, one on the 2023 Shale E&P Activity Forecast and one on US Oilfield Water Forecasts. These will be delivered by highly respected analysts from Rystad Energy and B3 Insight and the data will be valuable to attendees who will be engaged in 2023 business planning at the time of the event.

Next, a keynote panel titled Water Midstream CEO Fireside Chat brings the CEOs of top water midstream firms to the stage together. Speakers on this panel include the top executives from WaterBridge, BlackBuck Resources, Lagoon Water Midstream and H2O Midstream. This discussion will set the tone for the year ahead by diving into market trends, positioning for success and sustainability, and exploring operational and policy issues through an executive lens.

Rounding out the one-day conference will be a series of panel discussions with experts discussing these topics:

  • Sustainability NOW, Not “Someday Maybe” – Progress On Decarbonization And “Greening” In Produced Water
  • E&P Operator Perspectives On Water
  • Collaboration Between Government, Landowners, & Industry To Reclaim Produced Water
  • Oilfield Capital Considerations For The “Post-Inflation Reduction Act” Era
  • Market Trends & Corporate Strategy In Water Midstream

Over 150 senior-level attendees from E&P operators, water midstream, oilfield service, and professional services firms are expected.
