Alan is a founding member of Pioneer Water Management LLC (PWM), developing and leading PWM operations and engineering since inception in 2014. Prior to PWM, Alan served in both engineering and operational leadership roles for Pioneer Natural Resources, ranging from international to domestic in production and midstream facilities, onshore drilling, and gas plant operations. Alan joined Pioneer in 2010 after serving as a submarine warfare officer in the US Navy. He earned degrees from the US Naval Academy (BS in Systems Engineering) and Naval Postgraduate School (MS in Mechanical Engineering).
