Jinxuan Hu has served as the Vice President of Engineered Water Solutions at Select Energy Services since February 2020. In this role, he focuses on service line technical integration, new technology and innovation, sustainability strategy, service quality, and optimization. Before joining Select, Mr. Hu spent eight years at Hydrozonix, LLC, where he played a pivotal role in the company’s growth from a startup to a leading service provider for produced water treatment and recycling. His last position at Hydrozonix was Vice President of Engineering and Safety.

With over a decade of experience, Mr. Hu specializes in developing technologies and technical services for water treatment and chemical management in the upstream oil and gas industry, covering all major unconventional basins in the United States. He has numerous publications and presentations in peer-reviewed journals and conferences and holds several patents in produced water management.

Mr. Hu earned his B.S. from Liaoning Technical University, his M.E. from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He also serves as a reviewer for more than 10 prominent journals, including Water Research and Environmental Science & Technology.
