John is Manager of Emerging Technologies for Bechtel’s Technologies & Solutions business, where he leads the global development & deployment of new technologies that support Bechtel’s customers.
John has 28 years of international energy & petrochemical experience in engineering, commercial, operations, projects, technology commercialization and global executive leadership roles. His experience spans water, liquid-solid separation, hydrogen / ammonia, methanol, sustainable aviation fuels, clean power & renewables, carbon capture & storage, natural gas / LNG, & petrochemicals. Prior to Bechtel, he spent 20+ years with a global integrated energy company.
John previously served on the multiorganizational US NPC Coordinating Steering Committees for both Hydrogen, and Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage Studies for the US Secretary of Energy.
John holds a Master of Chemical Engineering degree from Imperial College, UK, and he is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the UK Institution of Chemical Engineers.
