Currently, in addition to leading the Marketing Department of a well-respected Midland Community Bank, Jonna spearheads the Premiere Public Relations firm of the Permian Basin, Max(i) Media, a boutique marketing and strategy company that is so discreet it even eschews having a web presence. As of this writing, Jonna Smoot is a Midland County Candidate for the March 1, 2022 County Judge race which, if she wins, will take office in January of 2023. #rootforsmoot Jonna Smoot has been involved in many leadership roles, but none more so than when she helped bring a fledgling idea of holding a “little water conference” to life. Jonna was an inaugural Founder, Board Member and Event Chair of the Permian Basin Water In Basin (PBWIEC) Conference for Years One, Two and Three. Each year, she was able to garner close to 500 in attendance, drew attendees from across the globe and brought significant attention to the pressing topic of water in energy.
