Matt Hagerty is a Senior Energy Strategist for BTU Analytics, a FactSet Company. Upon joining BTU Analytics, Matt focused on the economics of oil and natural gas production, gaining a key understanding of breakevens, undrilled acreage, and E&P capital allocation. Since then, Matt has forecasted production, drilling & completion activity, supply/demand balances, and oil & natural gas pricing for nearly every major producing region across the US and Canada. Additionally, Matt is currently analyzing the changing oil & gas landscape through the energy transition, through emissions reduction, responsibly sourced natural gas, among others. Prior to joining BTU, he was an energy research associate at Bloomberg Intelligence. Matt holds a B.S. in Finance from Tulane University.
