Murray Dighans

SWD Asset Manager
Endeavor Energy Resources

An industry professional of 14 years, Murray Dighans is SWD Asset Team Manager at Endeavor Energy Resources, LP (EER). This newly-formed team focuses on understanding disposal reservoir performance and mitigating the organization’s seismicity risk.

Prior to his current role, Murray served as Geoscience Manager and Operations Geology Manager at Endeavor, roles which also concentrated on SWD performance and seismicity.

During his tenure at Endeavor, the company and Environmental Disposal Services, EER’s wholly-owned water disposal company, have collected a significant amount of reservoir data, including pressure measurements. These findings have led to a better understanding of proactive curtailment strategies in deep disposal intervals (Ellenburger) and established a template for ongoing data collection strategies in shallow disposal intervals (Glorietta, Grayburg, and San Andres).

Murray holds a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Texas Permian Basin and a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University.
