Nick Patterson is the Chief Commercial Officer of Aris Water Solutions and has two decades of international energy services experience. Prior to joining Aris, he was the Chief Executive Officer for Delmar Systems where he grew the company from a primarily US based and focused company into the leading international mooring and foundation provider with over 200 employees and ten worldwide locations. Before Delmar, he held positions of increasing responsibility in strategy, finance, operations, and sales and marketing for Transocean, Diamond Offshore, and Atwood Oceanics. Through his career, he has conducted various business transactions in excess of thirty billion dollars in more than thirty-five countries.
Nick earned an MBA from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University and an undergraduate degree in Financial Management from the University of Arkansas. He also served in the United States Army Reserves as a Combat Engineer and was deployed to serve in Operation Iraqi Freedom from February 2003 to April 2004.
Nick serves on the Board of Impact a Hero and is the Vice-Chairman for The Energy Education Foundation.
