Patrick Walker is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Goodnight Midstream in Dallas, Texas. Prior to Goodnight Midstream, Patrick co-founded RKM Energy Partners, a small energy-focused private equity firm with interests in Texas, North Dakota, California and Alberta, Canada. In 2011 Patrick and Co-founder Robert Rubey spun out Goodnight Water Solutions (now Goodnight Midstream) to address the critical need for produced water transportation and disposal in North Dakota. Following an investment from Tailwater Capital, Goodnight entered the Permian Basin in 2016 and the Eagle Ford shale in 2018. Since inception, Goodnight has grown to 160 employees; is currently the largest produced water company in North Dakota and one of the five largest in both the Permian and Eagle Ford. Patrick also serves as an Executive of Eagle Exploration, a family-owned independent operator in the Texas Panhandle.
Outside of work, Patrick serves as a trustee of Lovers Lane United Methodist Church, on the University of Texas College of Liberal Arts Advisory Board, and as a co-chair of the MEI Midstream sub-committee of the McCombs Energy Initiative.
Patrick holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Stanford University.
