Shane Johanson is Sr. Director Ops. Disposal Solutions at Select Water Solutions. He is a transportation logistics and waste disposal specialist with over 30 years of experience in transporting regulated environmental wastes for safe disposition. His career in the industry began with Energy Solutions (formerly Envirocare of Utah) as a facility operator unloading trucks back in 1988. Since that time, he has overseen operations for the movement of tens of thousands of waste shipments by truck or rail from projects across the U.S. He has served as transportation and disposal manager for two facilities (in Utah and Ohio) and also owned and operated a transportation logistics company for over 15 years. He is currently a Senior Director with Select Water working in the Disposal Solutions Group and responsible for growing their rail logistics and disposal offerings. He has a civil engineering degree and MBA from the University of Utah and a doctorate in organizational change & leadership from the University of Southern California.
