The IOGCC adopted a resolution proposed by Commissioner Wright urging the EPA to collaborate with the states on putting recycled produced water to beneficial reuse by creating a framework for pilot projects.

"While farmers and cities face increasing water scarcity, though, oil and gas companies are using billions of gallons from these rivers annually.
