Oilfield Water Weekly

Produced water deal news returns as a lengthy deal process finally comes to an end. Congratulations to the Pilot team on their Felix Water acquisition announced yesterday, which is our top story in the news digest today.

We are excited to announce that Pilot Water Solutions’ own Zach Neal, Senior Vice President, was just added to the State Of Water Midstream panel at the Oilfield Water Markets Conference this May 12-13. Pilot will also be exhibiting at the conference, so attendees will have plenty of opportunities to hear about the this deal’s implications in person

The Oilfield Water Markets conference is the first in-person PW event in over a year, so you know there will be deals done on the sidelines… maybe even one like Pilot’s… and there’s only one way to find out! Given how the agenda is shaping up, all the right people from the U.S. produced water market will be in the room too – from E&P operators (who are now flowing into the agenda and onto the attendee list) to leading water midstreamers to land owners, service firms, bankers, attorneys, investors, etc.

Before we get to this week’s news, three quick updates about the event:

  1. Big Name Speakers Added To Agenda. Since announcing the preliminary agenda just last week, we’ve added many strong strong voices to the speaker lineup (some of which you won’t hear speak in any other forums this year). See their names here. You won’t want to miss what these industry leaders have to say, nor will you want to miss access to the movers and shakers of this business on the sidelines. We’ll be previewing some of the topics these folks will address on the big stage in upcoming newsletters over the next several weeks
  2. Three New Sponsors Just Joined. Less than half of the event’s exhibit spots are still available. We expect to the exhibit area to sell out well before the event, so now’s the time to jump on what’s left if you haven’t already! This week, we are very excited to welcome three great new sponsors to the event:
    1. CDX Energy Services joins as Gold Sponsor
    2. Energy Water Solutions joins as Silver Sponsor + Case Study Spotlight
    3. Pilot Water Solutions joins as Silver Sponsor
  3. Golf… Did You Say Golf? Yes, And It’s Going To Be Different In A Good way! We are about to overhaul the Golf Sponsorship and the Golf Outing to something much larger which will involve more attendees and more value for Golf Sponsors in the form of quality time with potential clients and partners. If your firm is interested in learning more about sponsoring golf before the opportunity goes live to everyone, just reply to this email and we’ll give you the scoop before we press release the details later this week. We expect this to sell out quickly…

Thanks to all our supporting sponsors and organizations and speakers for enabling this event to happen! We hope to see you May 12-13 in Frisco…

Now here is this week’s water news…
