Small modular molten salt reactors (MSRs) offer a promising and scalable solution and could become a valuable asset to purify produced water generated by oil and gas wells, which is then available for agricultural and other beneficial uses. Texas Tech announced an MOU yesterday with Natura Resources LLC and Abilene Christian University (ACU) to seek business opportunities and funding for projects related to Natura’s MSR currently under construction on the ACU campus.

SRBC Approves 18 New & Renewed Water Use Permits for Marcellus-Utica Pads
