Oilfield Water Weekly

An exceptionally busy news week is recapped below – we encourage readers to scroll through all of the deal, regulatory, and other big industry headlines.

While there was plenty of big news, the biggest was the new Delaware Basin SRA that rattled the water midstream sector this week even as more earthquakes that rattled Midland. The TX RRC crackdown continues on WTX disposal as regulators try to head off the seismicity surge.

The new regulatory development was both predicted and discussed at length by industry thought leaders at the Houstonian two weeks ago during our 3rd Annual Oilfield Water Industry Update Conference.

The new SRAs have big implications for the future of oilfield wastewater management, and these implications are sure to be hot topics at our next event, March 10-11, 2022. Details and online registration are on event the website here… please plan to join us and hundreds of your peers for two days of networking and knowledge sharing early next year.

And now this week’s news…
